Once little L is tucked up in bed at night & the grandparents are on hand to babysit, I'd think 'if I were in Dubai right now, I could hit the mall', but here everything is closed by 6pm... :-/

2. Having anything delivered at anytime. 

I know it's suuuuper lazy, (& actually slightly embarrassing) but it's 9pm, your in your PJ's & feel like some malteasers... you call the shop & they will have them delivered to your door within 10 minutes - craziness!

3. A dip in the pool. Ok, it might still be a bit on the hot side for a sunbathe, but I've missed popping down to the pool with little L for a dip - & he loves it!

4. Service with a smile. This is something I hadn't really noticed until moving to Dubai... but I don't think I've ever had a 'have a nice day' with my coffee in the UK - you're lucky if you get a smile!

5. Sunset by 7pm. I definitely didn't expect to miss this! I've always loved the bright summer nights in the UK, but when it's 7pm, still blatantly daylight outside & you're trying to get a baby to sleep then it becomes a different story... 

Oh & 6. Being reunited with my other half! Maybe that should have been number 1?! ;-)
