So the Ripe Market has finally returned to Zabeel Park (every Friday 9am-3pm) & it seems to be busier than ever! I can't think of a better way to spend our Friday mornings than a little shopping, eating from as many different food vendors as we can & sipping fresh coconut water from nothing other than a giant coconut - Coconut Man anyone? And this is all before 11am.
This time last year little L was only a few months old, so we would be mostly strolling around the market with him in his pram; this year we're enjoying chasing him around the grass, watching him attempt to play with the older kids in the park & holding him back from trying to squash the tortoise into the ground at the petting zoo... seriously.
Anyway, there are so many creative vendors at The Ripe Market this year but I thought I would try and whittle it down to share just a few of my favourites from the past couple of weeks....

Mama's Box

If you're looking for something to buy a new mum / mum-to-be or even yourself, then let Mama's Box help you out. They offer the perfect idea for a gift, with a 1, 3 or 6 month subscription mum & baby will receive a box of goodies to suit either the stage of pregnancy or age of baby. I really wish I had known about this while I was pregnant, I would have loved this as a new mum; the early months after giving birth can sometimes be so challenging that even the smallest things, like a little box of goodies, can brighten up your day.

Coco Yogo

Little L has a slight dairy intolerance so I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for dairy free products. I came across Coco Yogo at The Ripe Market two weeks ago & I'm quickly becoming addicted to their dairy free, coconut based ice cream, (especially the chocolate one) the only ice cream I can somehow manage to eat before 11am. Coco Yogo offers a range of sweet & savory products; all dairy & gluten free, including; cheesecakes, yoghurts, ice cream, & more.

Moxilicious

I picked up these stylish, grey coloured moccs for little L from Moxilitious, & now plan to get some more. They are the perfect shoe for babies just learning to walk. This particular style is from their new collection and is available in a selection of different colours. The moccs are all handmade locally using the softest of Italian leathers.

Ann Sofia's handmade Jewelry

The very talented Ann-Sofia has been a regular vendor at the Ripe Market for a few years now. Her jewellery is cute and quirky and available in an array of different colours. My favourite at the moment has to be her new leather strap bracelets, which you can customise. How cute are the 'proud mother' charms?

Sandal Souq

Last week I bought my first pair of sandals from Sandal Souk; whose footwear is functional and comfortable, but equally on trend! I just couldn't resist getting my feet into these glitter covered beauties. They are available in gold, silver, white, gun metal & multicoloured - which are the ones I bought; ideal for adding a bit of sparkle an every day outfit.

The Joinery Shop

If you're a regular at the Ripe Market then you must be familiar with The Joinery Shop. Famed for their vintage custom made signboards; it's the where you want to shop if you are looking for something for your home thats a little unique. They also revamp furniture - take a look at the website for more info littlemajlis.com/shop/thejoineryshopdubai
